E-mail over SMS

All Citycell Pre-paid & Post-paid customers have individual email account: If your mobile number is 01199121121, your email address will be: 01199121121@sms.citycell.com You can send to and receive emails from any email address anywhere in the world.

Sending e-mail from E-mail over SMS to any e-mail address

In the “Write New SMS” or “Create SMS” option of your mobile, type the e-mail address followed by the e-mail message (leave a SPACE between the address and the main message) & send it to 4444. For example - if you want to send an email to friend@yahoo.com with the Message "How are you?” Type a message friend@yahoo.com how are you? and send it to 4444
 
Sending e-mails to Citycell Mobile Numbers 

When someone wants to send e-mail to a Citycell user, he/she will need to send the email to the address 011xxxxxxxx@sms.citycell.com (Here, xxxxxxxx represent the last eight digits of the destination mobile number)

Please note that:

The email should be without any ATTACHMENT, if you enclose an attachment your e-mail will not be delivered. Do not use cc/bcc option when sending mail to E-mail over SMS numbers.

E-mail Arrival Notification 

Whenever an email is sent to your mobile e-mail account, you will be notified through an SMS. For example if you receive an email from friend@yahoo.com, the notification SMS will be 'You have got an email from   friend@yahoo.com send READ 1 to 4444 to read the mail'. If you receive a second e-mail from relative@yahoo.com you will receive another notification SMS saying 'You have got an email from  relative@yahoo.com. Send READ 2 to 4444 to read the mail
